The overall aim of this project is to provide a basis for establishing a coordinated CCS infrastructure in the Scandinavian countries, with special focus on the Interreg region. The project include four work packages:
Work Package 1 - Storage
Localize where to perform seismic surveys / drilling in the region. Collect existing source material in terms of storage options for CO2 in the region's proximity, and localize possible formations that can be developed to meet the safety requirements as well as the ability of receiving substantial amounts of CO2 for the next 20 years.

Work Package 2 - Transport and Infrastructure
Work Package 2 will focus on technically feasible and cost effective CO2 transport solutions from emission sources in the Skagerrak/Kattegat region to permanent storage.

Work Package 3 - Capture and Framework
Chalmers University of Technology coordinates Work Package 3 on assessing the build-up of a complete CCS infrastructure from a system perspective, covering economical, practical and judicial aspects.

Work Package 4 - Communication
The main target of work package 4 is during the project period to disseminate project results to the project partners and the stakeholders in the region and to build a common platform for understanding of the CO2-chain among the stakeholders as a basis for a successful future implementation of CCS.
